About Me

     When Margaret retired from her career as an elected county official, her goal was to spend as much time as possible putting words to paper. After initially focusing on short stories, she turned her attention to writing her first novel, With Angels as Witness. 

     Margaret was born in Olney, Illinois, and grew up on a farm outside of town. She has lived in Kentucky, for over fifty years. She serves as an Elder of the Madisonville First Christian Church, Disciples of Christ. She is also a storyteller for the young children’s Worship and Wonder program at the church.

      She enjoys the company of her husband of almost sixty years, two daughters, and two adult grandchildren.
